Famous People

We often project many of our own unlived or unacknowledged weaknesses and strength on to famous people. So the person in your dream might represent a particular quality or weakness; your own potential; the desire to be noticed or given attention. If you think of the person in a particular role or scene, this will probably be the major clue to what they represent – such as the lover who leaves – the father who sacrifices, etc...

Meal

Taking in life; absorbing something of life and the world; being enriched. If you are with others, then it might reflect something about the way you relate socially to people. It could also be a sharing of life and experience with others.

Dream Moods

Fame
To dream that you have fame, denotes unrealized achievements or failed aspirations. You constantly need reaffirmation, praises and acknowledgment. You want to be admired and looked up to by those around you. To see famous people in your dream, signifies an increase to your prosperity and honor.

Lunch

To see or eat lunch in your dream, indicates that you are lacking spiritual enrichment and enlightenment in some area of your life.

The Curious Dreamer

Celebrity

Dreaming that you are talking to a celebrity or that you are friends with a celebrity can mean that your subconscious mind considers that person a friend because you "interact" with them often, or like to "interact" with them by watching them in the media. (The subconscious mind may not see much difference between a seeing a person in the media and talking to them in person.) Dreaming that you are a celebrity when you're not can mean you desire attention, recognition, respect, approval, or other things you associate with fame.

Meal

# Nourishment for the body, mind, emotions, or spirit
# A time for relaxing, socializing or bonding with others, or whatever you associate with mealtime
# Characteristics you associate with a particular meal (hurrying at breakfast, socializing at lunch, bonding with family at dinner, arguing at holiday dinners).

Gato

- Associated with independence, cleverness and unpredictability
- Look for magical and mysterious happenings in your life

Because a cat is often an easy source of physical contact and affection it can depict the need to be cared for and warm affection, even sexual love accompanied with intense warm feelings. For some women cats are a substitute baby, it is therefore used in many dreams to represent a woman's urge or need to care for someone, or directly her need to reproduce, therefore desire for sex; refined female sexuality or ruttiness unless the cat is markedly a tom. In a man's dream the cat may therefore refer to a woman or to the female, intuitive side of his nature.. It can therefore depict his intuition and feelings, perhaps warning him through its sensitivity to moods of unseen dangers. In some dreams it represnts cattiness - showing one's 'claws', jealousy, anger or vindictiveness in a relationship. In this aspect it might refer to ones mother; independence; stealth; fertility. In some dreams the cat definitely represents the fear of bad news or general fears. If you have bred cats it may well represent your own, perhaps unconscious, desires to have a baby. Jungians see the cat as representing a deep psychological secret, a hidden side of ones nature, the shadowy less obvious or outwardly displayed side of your nature. This is most likely because cats go about their business without any attempt to explain themselves or to accommodate us poor humans. Also they are creatures of the night very often, and live a dark life. Prior to the custom of neutering a cat and, in the US, removing its claws, this dark life was often very noisy and obviously sexual and aggressive. Left to itself th cat is a master predator. The cat is thought to have first been domesticated in Egypt about 2000 BC, and all modern cats are said to be descendents of them. The Egyptian name for cat was 'miu' or he or she who mews. Although the cat never became a fully acknowledged god figure as the jackal and hippo did, it was perhaps the most popular. She was known as Bastet or Bast, and a household goddess, the protector of women, children and domestic cats. She was also known as the goddess of sunrise, music, dance, pleasure, as well as family, fertility and birth. But there was a negative side known as Sekhmet the goddess of war and pestilence, though later tamed by Ra to become the protector of humans.
Alley cat:: Sexuality; promiscuity; down on luck.
Black cat: Depends what dreamer associates with it - so may be good luck or bad luck and evil - i.e. events working for or against one; anxiety.
Cat's claws: Spitefulness; desire to hurt; hidden aggression; clinging, or 'getting ones claws in someone'.
Cat having kittens: Desire for or feelings about babies or ones own babyhood; fertility.
Fear of cat: Fear of the female in oneself; fear of females; difficulty in meeting feelings and intuition; sense of danger. See: Animal phobias at the end of the animal section.
Group of cats: Group of women; relating to the different moods or feelings.
If allergic to cats: If you are allergic and dream of a cat it would signify a negative and threatening reaction to a situation or relationship.
Kitten: Feelings about vulnerability or babyhood; feelings about caring for someone or something vulnerable; parental urges, perhaps protectiveness.
Speaking cat: Ability to express feminine feelings, intuition or sexuality; a realisation of feelings of physical hunger or emotional or sexual attraction. See last example below.
Wild cat: Stealth, ferocity, cunning, ability to survive.

To see a cat in your dream, signifies much misfortune, treachery, and bad luck. However, for the cat lover, cats signifies an independent spirit, feminine sexuality, creativity, and power. If the cat is aggressive, then it suggests that you are having problems with the feminine aspect of yourself. If a cat is biting you, then it symbolizes the devouring female. Perhaps you are taking and taking without giving. You may be expressing some fear or frustration especially when something is not going as planned. If you see a cat with no tail, then it signifies a lost of independence and lack of autonomy.
To dream that you chase the cat away, signifies that you will overcome your obstacles.
To see a white cat in your dream, denotes that you are going through difficult times. If you see a black cat in your dream, then it indicates that you are experiencing some fear in using your psychic abilities and believing in your intuition. You may erroneously associate the black cat with evil, destruction, and bad luck.

Independent, having strong ideas about how things should be, lithe and adaptable, mysterious. Dreaming of this animal can represent:
- Having too much of one of these qualities, or that you could benefit by being less this way
- Not having enough of one of these qualities, or that you could benefit by being more like this
- Someone or something in your real life with whom you associate one of these qualities (an event, situation, threat, etc.)
For more clues, pay attention to what the animal was doing or any particular characteristic that stood out. A cat can also represent an actual cat in your life, or your inner child (meaning that you could benefit from more attention to your self-care, self-reward, or self-focus). A cat in trouble, sick, or overlooked can mean you may be overlooking a responsibility for yourself or your life.

Cobra

- Associated with transmutation, changes in consciousness
- Look for a transition happening in your life, take advantage of - Inner healing via new powers of creativity and wisdom

- Sneaky, stealthy, or passive aggressive
- A challenge or potential attack
- Perception of a sneaky action or intention, possibly with an element of sneak attack
- Perceived toxic or ill will
Dreaming of this animal can represent:
- Having too much of one of these qualities, or that you could benefit by being less this way
- Not having enough of one of these qualities, or that you could benefit by being more like this
- Someone or something in your real life with whom you associate one of these qualities (an event, situation, threat, etc.)
For more clues, pay attention to what the animal was doing or any particular characteristic that stood out.
A large number of snakes writhing might represent:
- Multiple problems or challenges, or one big complicated one
- Overwhelm

To see a snake or be bitten by one in your dream, signifies hidden fears and worries that are threatening you. Your dream may be alerting you to something in your waking life that you are not aware of or that has not yet surfaced. The snake may also be seen as phallic and thus symbolize dangerous and forbidden sexuality. The snake may also refer to a person around you who is callous, ruthless, and can't be trusted. As a positive symbol, snakes represent transformation, knowledge and wisdom. It is indicative of self-renewal and positive changes.

The snake can represent many different things, but usually the energy that expresses as our life processes. If we think of a person's life from conception to death, we see a flowing moving event, similar in many ways to the speeded-up films of a seed growing into a plant, flowering and dying. The snake depicts the force, purpose or energy behind that movement. It is the force of life, the latent energy or potential within us - that leads us both to growth and death, along with the passionate emotions and urges that drive us so powerfully. That energy - like electricity in a house, that can be heat, power, sound and vision - lies behind all our functions. So in some dreams the snake represents our sexuality; in others the rising of that energy up our body to express as digestion - the intestinal snake; or as the creative or poisonous energy of our emotions and thoughts, even disease; in the throat as destructive or constructive speech and language; in the head as thinking, perception and higher cognition. In the destructive aspect the snake represents the poisonous thoughts and emotions that can destroy us. We tend to depict this snake biting or attacking us, even though we have ourselves given rise to such poisonous emotions as hate and guilt. Because our life energy flows into thinking and emotions, we are in this way directing the creative force of life. Directing it negatively has the power to bring illness and death, for we are dealing with the power of life and death itself. But the snake can also depict the intestines, and their health. The opposite is also true. The power of life and death can be directed creatively. Then the snake is seen in its healing role in dreams, and in ancient times was shown in the form of the staff with two snakes coiling up it - caduceus - still used today as a symbol of the medical profession. See: energy sex dreams. The snake can shed its skin, and so symbolises self transcendence, rebirth. The the alchemists put a gold crown on its head, symbolising expanded or spiritual consciousness arising from the same energy as sexuality. Often a diadem, gem, or light is at its brow symbolising the possibility of expanded consciousness, or awareness of the eternal nature, and life in eternity. Christ is sometimes depicted as a crucified serpent.

Casamento:
- Desire for, or problems in, marriage. What happens at the wedding shows your feelings about, or difficulties in facing, marriage. It can therefore clarify feelings, difficulties, unconscious attitudes. But please do remember that dreams often depict your fears, they are seldom predictions. So learn from the dream to sort out what is troubling you. Don't use them to trouble yourself. Marriage appears in dreams often to symbolise the uniting of various parts of your being. For instance men often neglect their feeling values and live in their intellect, while for women vice versa is often the case. Thus, if a woman dreams of marrying a man it may represent the uniting of these two parts. It epitomises a growth of sympathy and relationship between parts of you that were previously not well related.

- To see a wedding in your dream, symbolizes a new beginning or transition in your current life.  Dreams involving weddings are generally negative and highlight some anxiety or fear. It often refers to feelings of bitterness, sorrow, or death.  Alternatively, wedding dreams reflect your issues about commitment and independence. To dream that you are getting married to your current spouse again, represents your wedded bliss and happiness. It highlights your strong commitment to each other. It may also signify a new phase (such as parenthood) that you are entering in your life. To dream that you are planning your own wedding to someone you never met, is a metaphor symbolizing the union of your masculine and feminine side. It represents a transitional phase where you are seeking some sort of balance between your aggressive side and emotional side. If you are getting married and have dreams of your pending wedding, then it highlights the stress of organizing a wedding. Conflicts over wedding details, tension with family and in-laws, fear of commitment, and loss of independence may all cause wedding anxiety dreams. Research has shown that up to 40% of brides and grooms have dreams about their ceremony and things going perfectly.

- A culmination or milestone in a romantic relationship, such as starting to see each other exclusively, getting engaged, or actually getting married
- The idea of a family gathering
- An actual party hosted by the people represented by the wedding couple in the dream
- Participating in someone else's wedding and being happy about it might indicate your support, approval, or good will for that couple's relationship in real life.

Salão:
- A place or activity where others focus on you
- An effort to improve the impression you make on others or the version of yourself you show the world
- A life-makeover or fresh start somehow in your life, or a desire for it
- To dream that you are at the salon, indicates your consciousness of your appearance and beauty. You may be trying too hard to impress others. It may also suggests deception and cover-up of some situation. Alternatively, it may denote a new outlook toward life.

Jardim:
- Your garden dream often reveals what you are doing with your latent possibilities. It is pointing out whether you have cultivated your abilities, or buried them. A garden is sometimes a place of love in a dream. In which case it can denote what is growing or dying in your relationship. Another garden theme is connected with activities we do in the garden, like pets we keep, or work done. This connects with what is growing in the area of your natural urges, the pets, and what you are doing that is socially visible, the work in the garden. A pool or swimming pool in the garden usually relates to shared experience, times when you felt at-one with people, or someone in particular.

- To see a vegetable or fruit garden in your dream, indicates that your hard work and diligence will pay off in the end.  It is also symbolic of stability and inner growth. To see a flower garden in your dream, represents tranquility, comfort, love and domestic bliss. You need to be nurturing. To see sparse, weed-infested garden, suggests that you have neglected your spiritual needs. You are not on top of things.

- Your life and all the aspects of it. Also pay attention to the state of the garden, and any parts of it that feels significant. If it is overrun with weeds, perhaps you could benefit by putting more attention on your responsibilities and life management.

Túlipas...
- A process or life cycle
- Starting at the beginning, unfolding and occurring, and finishing

- To see tulips in your dream, indicates fresh new beginnings. You are loving life! Tulips are also symbolic of faith, charity, and hope. Consider it to also be a pun "two lips". Perhaps it is hinting to a kiss?

...Vermelhas

- Red is an indication of raw energy, force, vigor, intense passion, aggression, power, courage and passion. The color red has deep emotional and spiritual connotations. Red is also the color of danger, shame, sexual impulses and urges. Perhaps you need to stop and think about your actions.

- In many dreams this links with strong feelings, even to the degree of horror. So there are probably issues worth exploring when red appears in your dream. Red also represents your primal emotions, the earthy side of your nature, and your sexuality. In depicts your strength, your vitality and your power to heal. Because of the modern association with traffic lights and warnings such as brake lights on cars, it may sometimes be used as a warning, or a way of saying 'stop' or 'no'. From findings concerning early humans we know that the colour red, and substances such as red ochre, played a large and important part in their life. In Africa red ochre was, and still is, called the 'blood of the earth' and is used in rituals to do with death and renewal. Because red is connected with blood and its obvious link with health, being alive, and the process of childbirth in women, ochre and the colour red are often used in healing practices.

- The color red can represent stimulating, exciting, exotic, full of life or vigor, or anger. Red can also appear in a dream to highlight something important.

Margaridas...
- To see daisies in your dream, symbolizes freshness, beauty, innocence, simplicity, friendliness, and cleanliness. To dream that someone gives you a bouquet of daisies, symbolizes sorrow and/or lost love. On the other hand, daisies may also represent beauty, purity, and innocence. To dream of walking in a field of daisies, represents good luck and prosperity. Someone will be there to offer you a helping hand and guidance for your problems.

- Friendship, good will, happiness.

...Amarelas
- Lightness of feeling; intellect; extroversion; cowardice; intuition; caution or quarantine; hopefulness for the future

- The color yellow has both positive and negative connotations. If the dream is a pleasant one, then the color yellow is symbolic of  intellect, energy, agility, happiness, harmony, and wisdom. On the other hand, if the dream is an unpleasant one, then the color represents cowardice and sickness. You may have a fear or an inability to make a decision or take action. As a result, you are experiencing many setbacks.

- Happiness or a positive outlook
- Fear or cowardice

Lago...
- A body of water such as an ocean, lake, etc. can represent: The context of your life - meaning the setting and situations within which the your life takes place - "your world". The unknown or a huge, deep area that you feel holds secrets. A calm body of water can represent peace or relaxation.

- To see a pond in your dream, represents tranquility and desire for more quiet time to yourself. It is a time to reflect on your situation and what is going on in your life. Alternatively, it suggests that you keep your feelings contained and in check. You are experiencing and emotional calm in your life.

...com Nenúfares
- To see a water lily in your dream, signifies grief, sorrow, and bereavement.

- Has the same significance as the Indian Lotus. Its roots are in mud, it reaches up through water, and opens in air to the sun. This symbolises the roots of our consciousness in the deeps of the unconscious and material experience. This unfolds into feeling values, emotions, the psychic realm, and eventually blossoms into intellect, self realisation that realises the Sun, or spirit. In the Indian scriptures the petals of the mythical lotus unfold to reveal a jewel at the centre. This represents the unfolding of human consciousness to a realisation of the eternal nature underlying all its activities.

- Beginnings or endings. Spring, a fresh start, or renewal. A feeling of celebration.

Perfume / Odour To dream that you are spraying or wearing perfume, suggests that you are seeking for more pleasure in your life. It is symbolic of your sexuality, sensuality, and indulgence. Depends entirely upon what is smelt, what emotions surround it. For instance, you can say 'I smell a rat', or something smells fishy or the whole situation stinks to high heaven. A perfume can remind you of a particular person, and therefore associate with your feelings about them, or with particular memory or events in life. Odours often represent feelings, attractions, repulsion, fresh or stale, living or dying. They can also represent feelings radiating from you, or from what the symbol depicts. Money The things you value, and perhaps your feelings of self worth. It also reflects what you feel about your potential, your energy or personal resources ; occasionally connects with struggle or misery. That is, the misery of continually struggling to exist, to pay ones way. In many dreams money depicts your power to change things or do things; or having power, even over someone else; personal potency, therefore links with sexuality and self-giving; what you pay for your desires or actions. Finding money: Realising something valuable; gaining power; release from stress or 'down' feelings - in that we feel excited and uplift on finding money. Holding on to money: Feeling insecure, or being 'tight' emotionally or sexually; not using ones power to get what you want. Losing money: Losing power or opportunity; pain of loss. Not enough money: Sense of being inadequate or failing potency. Stolen money: Feelings of guilt about gaining power; feeling you do not deserve what you get, or what you want that is of value; feeling cheated; loss of power if money stolen; feeling others are taking us for granted; giving oneself cheaply in sex or relationship. To see or win money in your dream, symbolizes that success and prosperity is within your reach. Money may represent confidence, self-worth, success, or values. You have much belief in yourself. Alternatively, dreaming about money, refers to your attitudes about love and matters of the heart. To dream that you lose money, signifies temporary unhappiness in the home and a few setbacks in your affairs. You may be feeling weak, vulnerable, and out of control in your waking life. Additionally, you may be lacking ambition, power and self-esteem. To dream about giving money away, is analogous to giving love. You are looking for love. To see others giving money away, suggests that you are feeling ignored or neglected. Someone is not paying enough attention and showing enough affection toward you. To dream that you have no money, denotes that you have a fear of losing your place in the world or that you feel that you lack the abilities needed to achieve some desired goal. You may be overlooked or neglected by others. To dream that you steal money, forewarns that you are in danger and need to be cautious. On a positive note, it may mean that you are finally going after or reaching out towards attributes that you associate with things of value.

Colher / Spoon To see a spoon in your dream, indicates that you may need to give/receive nourishment. It may also mean that you feel you or someone is being given special treatment.

Janela /Window To see windows in your dream, signifies bright hopes, vast possibilities and insight. To dream that you are looking out the window, signifies your outlook on life, your consciousness, point of view, awareness, and intuition. You may be reflecting on a decision and seeking guidance. If you are looking in the window, then it indicates that you are doing some soul searching and looking within yourself. To see shut windows in your dream, signifies desertion and abandonment. Your outlook on life, your contact with other people and outer events.

Crianças / Children To see children in your dream, signifies your own childlike qualities or a retreat back to a childlike state. It is an extension of your inner child during a time of innocence, purity, simplicity, and a carefree attitude. You may be longing for the past and the chance to satisfy repressed desires and unfulfilled hopes. Take some time off and cater to the inner child within. The loss of a child, signifies fallen hopes or a project. To save a child, signifies your attempts to save a part of yourself from being destroyed.

Roubar / STEAL/STEALING/STOLEN Feeling that something is taken from you, or you are taking something, without agreement. Feelings of being unloved might enter into this, as you will feel you are stealing what is not willingly given. To dream that you are stealing, denotes that you are deprived and where the stealing takes place (at home, the office, at school....) is indicative of your neediness. Alternatively, it may signify unrealized and unfulfilled goals. You may have set your goals too high.
